Inspired by Kalamkari and hand-block-printed textiles, every paisley is filled with fine linework and dot detail, so the more you look, the more you see.
Designed motif by motif
Every YldKat tumbler starts as an original illustration by artist Ayantika Sen, not a stock pattern. Each motif is drawn individually, then the design is built up in layers: background textures, borders, fine linework and tiny details that only show up when you look closely. The colours are balanced by hand so the palette stays rich and true, and the artwork is carefully mapped to the shape of the tumbler so the pattern flows all the way around without awkward breaks or a visible seam. A single design can take many hours of drawing, refining and test-fitting before it is ready to print.
